An initial comprehensive assessment includes a detailed interview and often a physical examination to diagnose a wide range of psychiatric disorders. This evaluation forms the basis for any treatment plan.

This involves the prescription and monitoring of psychiatric medications to manage symptoms of mental health disorders. The effectiveness of medications is assessed and may include adjusting dosages and /or switching medications if necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Providing a second opinion on existing psychiatric diagnoses and treatment plans, often requested to confirm the diagnosis or to explore alternative treatment options.

Virtual appointments are limited to one-time consultations and follow-ups for existing patients who are stable on their medication regimen and only act to complement in-person visits, which are essential for comprehensive assessments and management of side effects. In-person meetings are always preferred. 

Dr. Kye encourages the involvement of family members, especially during the initial consultations, to gain a broader perspective and foster a supportive treatment environment.
